Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 June 2026

The short version. DWEEB is a free, open-source tool for building and sending Discord webhook messages, provided as-is. Use it lawfully, only with webhooks you're allowed to use, and follow Discord's rules. You're responsible for the messages you create and send.

These Terms govern your use of DWEEB (the "Discord Webhook Embed Builder," the "Service"), hosted at dweeb.faizo.net and operated by Faizo (the "operator," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

DWEEB is a free, browser-based visual editor that lets you build, preview, share, and send Discord messages using Components V2. It runs in your browser. No account is required to use the editor; signing in with Discord is optional and only used to load a server's roles, channels, and emojis. The Service is open source under the MIT License; the source is available on GitHub.

2. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

3. Your content and credentials

You are solely responsible for the messages, content, and attachments you create with, and send through, the Service, and for the consequences of sending them. A webhook URL is a credential that lets anyone post to a channel — keep it secret, and only use webhooks you're entitled to use. You retain all rights to the content you create; we claim no ownership of it.

4. Third-party services

The Service interacts with third parties — including Discord, Google (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting), and any AI provider you choose to use. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord.

5. Intellectual property

The DWEEB software is licensed under the MIT License — you may use, modify, and redistribute it under those terms. The "DWEEB" name, logo, and branding are not part of that license and remain the operator's. Trademarks of third parties (such as "Discord") belong to their respective owners.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled. In short: your drafts, webhook URLs, and API keys stay in your browser.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will be delivered. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, messages, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if advised of the possibility. The Service is free, and your use of it is at your own risk.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator and contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country.
